Today my three 5th grade writing classes shared their literary essays. A few students were reluctant to share their writing with the class. They all did very well. All of the students had strong claims and there was a variety of different claims that they were able to support with strong evidence. This was our first week in this unit. I can’t wait to see their progress in the next three weeks.
