March Slice of Life

March Slice of Life

Many symptoms over 6 years time.

Many doctors and now  a diagnosis after a very long time.

An auto-immune disease that will last a life-time.

A sense of relief that we know what it is after all this time.

She is taking it well, relieved that she knows what it is.

The diagnosis has helped her to take charge of her life.

She now has the power to make healthy decisions that will help her with her diagnosis.

Her attitude has helped me to not look  at the negatives, but become educated

and embrace the positives.

  1. Six years is a long time to be sick and not know the cause. It sounds like strength has been gained from knowing the diagnosis. I wish you continued strength.

It is always to know what the illness is….even if it is not good news…it gives us a chance to, as you said, work with it and make educated decisions. I hope this is the beginning of feeling better for her.
