In Like a Lion

March Slice of Life

March Slice of Life

Last week was a very long week of school.  In part because of the school Variety Show, many meetings, and it has been at least 3 weeks since we have had a full week of school.  The students have had mostly indoor recess because of the temperatures. Well, March has arrived and I have to say it has come in as a lion with another 6 inches of snow.  In reality, it doesn’t feel like a  lion.  It just seems the norm at this point.  Regardless, I am looking forward to March ending quietly, like a lamb.

Yes, there has been quite enough snow. I am ready for the spring to start now. The good thing about any snow from here on in, is that the sun is strong enough to start melting it now. The bad thing is – oh, the mud season! It is going to be epic this year.

Spring is coming! I even drove through a puddle last week. Before you know it we’ll be cutting pussy willows!

You are NOT alone…’s storm did seem to come in quietly, though, like a lamb and that has scared those of us in nearby NYState!
