Pain

March Slice of Life

March Slice of Life

I have never had a toothache until today.  It bothered me through the night and when morning came I was in a lot of pain.  I had a filling done about two months ago.  The dentist said she had to drill a small crater to do the job. That was more than what I wanted to know. It has been sensitive to hot  and cold, but not too bad. For no particular reason that filling reared its ugly head this morning.  I have taken one Excedrin early in the day and things are bearable.  I have a very busy week in school and I am wondering when or if I can get to the dentist.  If so, what plans will I have for my students?
No offense, but I am not a fan of dentists.  I admire what they do, as long as I am not the patient.

I hate dentists and dental pain. I hate the sounds of the dentist’s chair. My mouth hurts and has a metallic taste in it now.

Such true words have never been spoken. I had a crown about a month ago and there are days when a slow ache follows me around. I don’t have time for the dentist–nor love.

Not a fan of going to the dentist, either (unfortunately, I’ve spent a lot of time in the dentist chair)- but if it keeps hurting, make time for the dentist!

I used to avoid the dentist at all costs, but then it cost me a lot. Now I have a dentist I love. Be sure to get it looked at, it will only get worse. Sorry.
