Cries for help

New week and its only Tuesday.

Students cries for help.

Trying to do the best for them.

New student sharing that he is having trouble fitting in, finding friends, and knows he is making bad decisions.

Mom sharing son has medical condition causing anxiety issues that are spilling over at home where he feels safe to share his worries.

Student who loves basketball made the travel team.  Bragging about it to other students, but deep down is insecure about his ability.

Rallying fellow teachers and support staff to lend a hand to support these children in need.  Finding ways where they can help younger children to help build self-esteem and feel good about themselves.

And many, many prayers.

These kids used to be the exception, now they are the rule. 😦
I pray all kids could have parents who cared more about their kids then about their own love lives. Stable homes would help. We do the best we can in the time we have them.

  2. Such a true SOL in schools today. SO many kids with SO many needs. SO many families stretched and stressed by life, work, money and societal pressures. They are lucky to have someone who cares and who prays for them.
