Start of Summer Break

A week and a half ago I completed my summer grad classes.  Last week was filled with taking my mother-in-law to her doctor visit, painting and re-organizing my pantry, visiting my sister, getting the emissions done and unpacking and setting up my new classroom.  This week I am continuing  to organize my surroundings and it has given me such serenity. I would love to go to the TCWP this year.  For the past two years I have wanted to go, but it has never worked out because of teaching summer school and grad classes, but hopefully next year I will be able to attend.   For the next three weeks I plan to relax, read TCWP Writing Units of Study and get ready for my new position teaching writing to fifth graders.
