What I would give for those days when they were little and their problems were easily solved.

Middle school years with friendship problems that were resolved with little heartache.

High school years when the stress of boyfriends, busy schedules, projects and tests were handled with relative maturity.

College years and freedom as adulthood neared.  Adjusting to  living at home during breaks.

Graduate in an unfriendly, economic environment, questioning the choices that were made.  Adjusting to living at home.

Problems are not easily solved and advice is not always wanted.

Giving all the love and support I can.

Hang in there! Parenting is a life-long challenge. We have the easy problems here at age 9.

“Problems are not easily solved and advice is not always wanted.” You are giving so much by just being present… which is what our children need most at any age, isn’t it?
