Read alouds

slol 2013

Pleading, pleading.

Don’t stop!

Come on!

Please, please!

We want to know what happens.

How can you stop NOW?!

Is that really the end?

It had to end that way…

Conversations in my classroom after reading some great books:

Tiger Rising, Wonder, and The One and Only Ivan.

The emotions of a read aloud.

Those are definitely the words after a read aloud and it is music to my ears. Just a hook to catch those who say they don’t like to read. I loved the way you put this together.
