Recipe for 2nd Slice of Life Challenge

slol 2013

(Enough nourishment for a crowd)

2 cups of commitment

1/4 cup of anticipation

1/3 cup of diligence

1/4 cup of levity

1/2 cup of inspiration

Each day harvest small moments, sprinkle in a dash of emotions and a scattering of thoughts.  Share with others and it returns twofold.

This poem reminds me of a conversation with one of my students yesterday.
I told him to go let his ideas “stew” for awhile, and it could be a really good piece.
He came back and said, ” I turned the temperature up high. I think I’m done!”
