Atmosphere

In the early morning before school, once a year, for the period of a month I hear the sound of children’s voices preparing for the school play.

Twice a year I hear the beautiful sound of a children’s orchestra and the rhythm of the fifth grade band.

Once  a year the lyrical sound of 4th and fifth graders singing holiday songs.

In the spring the orchestra, the band and  chorus members come together again to entertain us with their talents.

Every year I am thankful that I work in an elementary school with an auditorium that is well used.

Can’t wait for our school winter concert on Friday! We don’t have an auditorium, but make it work in the gym.
